To avoid a monthly fee, one (1) of the following requirements must be met monthly:

Minimum $1,000 in direct deposits to your Provident Checking account⁰⁰⁵
Minimum $2,500 in combined balances in checking and savings accounts at Provident
Minimum two electronic bill payments per month using Bill Pay (bill payments using paper checks don’t count toward waiving the monthly service fee)

This is a full-service checking account with no monthly fees when requirements are met.

002) In the event of an overdraft, if you have selected certain accounts to be used for Overdraft Transfer Protection and the funds are available to cover the transaction, they are automatically transferred from your other accounts. If you do not have funds available we offer Courtesy Pay Overdraft (there is a per-item fee for Courtesy Pay Overdraft) Service Charge Schedule
005) Direct Deposit of payroll, pension or benefits checks, or Automatic Transfer from a non-Provident account.
006) The minimum deposit required to open this account is $25.00. Your account will be automatically closed if your balance remains at zero for 180 days or more.
