The NBC Sports Bay Area & California All-Star Teacher Award, presented by Provident Credit Union, honors outstanding elementary, middle, and high school teachers. Over the past 15 years, Provident has contributed more than $400,000 to California schools. This year's winning teacher will receive a $30,000 donation for their school and will be celebrated during an NBC Sports broadcast at a San Francisco Giants game.
The deadline for nominations was Wednesday, February 5, 2025. A panel of judges will review the submissions and select five finalists. Public voting for the preferred finalist will be open from Monday, April 7, 2025 to Monday, June 2, 2025, at NBCSportsBayArea.com/AST.
