Celebrating the 2025 All Star Teacher Award Winner!
Provident Credit Union is proud to continue our partnership with NBC Sports Bay Area for the All‑Star Teacher Award, an annual program that honors exceptional elementary, middle, and high school teachers in the Bay Area and Sacramento region. The NBC Sports Bay Area & California All‑Star Teacher Award presented by Provident Credit Union recognizes educators for their extraordinary work and unwavering dedication to their students and community.
These teachers go above and beyond—creating safe, supportive, and inspiring learning environments where students thrive. The winning teacher receives a $30,000 donation for their school, and each of the other finalists is awarded $2,000 to support vital programs and classroom resources.
And the 2025 Winner Is...
The 2025 winner, Greg Martin of Sylvia Mendez Elementary in Berkeley, was announced live during a special on‑field ceremony at the San Francisco Giants game on June 25, 2025. Greg received the All‑Star Teacher title, and his school was awarded a $30,000 donation, courtesy of Provident Credit Union.
