Jim Ernest

President and Chief Executive Officer

Date of Hire: May 1996

Education: Mr. Ernest holds a BA, Economics from San Jose State University and an MBA from St. Mary's College, Moraga, CA. He is also a graduate of the Credit Union Executive Society's CEO Institute.

Mr. Ernest began his career in the savings and loan industry and worked in banking and credit unions for over 30 years. Prior to working for Provident, Mr. Ernest was Vice President and Director of Mortgage Operations at Continental Savings of San Francisco. He managed the mortgage operations for a commercial bank. He was an advisory member of the Fair Lending Consortium of the Bay Area. He was a member of Freddie Mac's National Credit Union Advisory Council. He was a member of the National Advisory Council for the CUNA Mutual Mortgage Insurance Company. He is currently on the Board of Directors of Catalight Foundation and serves as Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair.

Jennifer Lee

Senior Vice President, Chief Administrative and Financial Officer

Date of Hire: August 2012

Education: Bachelor of Science, Santa Clara University, Executive MBA, Santa Clara University

Previous Experience: Jennifer is a CPA and has over 20 years of experience in the Credit Union industry. For 13 years, she served as a Director for McGladrey & Pullen, providing audit and consulting services for Credit Unions. Vice President/Controller for two years at Technology Credit Union.

Fred Gomes

Senior Vice President

Date of Hire: September 2006

Education: Bachelor degree from University of California, Davis and MBA from California State University, Chico, CA.

Mr. Gomes is a CPA and has 22 years of credit union experience with O'Rourke Sacher and Moulton and McGladrey & Pullen. The last eight years was as partner in the Brisbane, California office. His background is in credit union accounting systems, human resources and all areas of operations. Mr. Gomes also serves on the Board of Directors of the San Mateo County Community College Foundation.

Heidi Parks

Senior Vice President

Date of Hire: September 2001

Education: Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, B.C. Canada and an MBA with honors from St. Mary's College, Moraga, CA. Graduate of CUES CEO Institute program. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified.

Previous Experience: Previously employed for 10 years as the Vice President of Marketing for Delta Credit Union (now Envision Credit Union). Served as a credit union marketing manager for the prior six years. Has a total of 35 years of experience in the credit union industry.

Responsibilities: Marketing, advertising, business development, website. 
Corporate communications activities and research, strategic planning, Lean Six Sigma program/projects.
Financial planning, insurance, and human resources.

John Haggarty

Vice President of Marketing and Digital Experience

Education: Bachelor of Arts degree Economics, University of California Los Angeles. Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of San Francisco.

Previous Experience: Mr. Haggarty has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Experienced in sales, business development, marketing, and advertising.

Greg McCurdy

Vice President of Lending and Chief Lending Officer

Date of Hire: August 2009

Education: Mr. McCurdy holds a Master of Business Administration from St. Mary’s College. He has a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Utah State University. He is Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified

Mr. McCurdy began his career in the Savings and Loan industry. He's been involved in residential and apartment lending for over 31 years. He was the director of acquisitions and structured financing for the Lembi Group, an apartment acquisition company. He was the Broker of Record, Manager and an MLO for HomeOwners Finance Center. He was the VP of Secondary Marketing, Regional Sales Manager, and Director of Strategic Growth for Continental Savings of America.

Responsibilities: Real Estate and Consumer Lending (both Production and Operations), Loan Servicing, Collections, Secondary Marketing, Lending System Administration, and Records.

Connie Finch

Vice President of Information Technology

Date of Hire: May 2000

Experience: 41 years experience in technology, including programming, business systems analysis, project management, database management, network management and security. Ms. Finch has served as a technology client advisory board member for Ongoing Operations and ACI Worldwide.

Responsibilities: IT software development, operations, service and support.

Paul Reilly

Vice President of Retail Banking

Date of Hire: December 2002

Education: Bachelor of Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Master of Business Administration from St. Mary’s College. Graduate of the Credit Union Executive Society's CEO Institute. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and FAA Certificated Instructor.

Previous Experience: Paul began his banking career in savings and loans. He's worked in retail banking for over 20 years. Paul was the retail operations manager at Pan American Bank, FSB, and held audit and compliance roles. During his spare time, Paul is a Civil Air Patrol volunteer.

Previous Experience: 39 years of financial institution experience, including operations, information technology, training, audit, fraud investigation, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

Ganesh Raghavan

Chief Information Security Officer and Vice President of Infrastructure

Education: Master's Degree in Computer Science & Management

Previous Experience: Over 20 years of Information Technology experience within the manufacturing, software, media, energy, healthcare, and technology sectors. Held various leadership roles, such as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Head of Infrastructure and Operations. Managed various global teams and implemented a diverse range of information security and infrastructure best practices and solutions.
