Wire Transfers

A secure, easy way to send and receive funds to and from other financial institutions

Outgoing Wire Transfers

You can send funds from your Provident account to another financial institution using wire transfers. Wire transfers are available for domestic and international transactions.

To schedule an outgoing wire transfer, sign on to Online Banking and go to “Transfers” and then “Wire Transfers” to access the required form. Fax the form to (650) 508-7276 (faxed documents/signatures are considered as legally binding as original documents/signatures and shall be sufficient unless originals are required by a third party). The applicable wire transfer fee will be deducted from your account once the wire is complete. If you request a confirmation number it will be emailed to you upon successful completion of your wire transfer.

A Provident Credit Union representative will call you to verify faxed wire transfer requests. All wire transfer requests must be received by 1:00 pm PST to be processed the same day. If a wire transfer is requested after 1:00 pm PST, it will be processed the following business day. We reserve the right to request the wire transfer be done at a branch location, if verification requirements are not met. Wires $50,000 or greater must be done in person at a Provident branch location.
