Enhanced Security with One-Time Passcodes

At Provident Credit Union, we take member security seriously. As part of our account verification process, we use one-time passcodes to confirm your identity when you call us. Here’s how it works:

When you call Provident’s member service, we’ll ask to send a passcode to the mobile phone number we have on file for your account. While you’re on the call, we’ll confirm that you’ve received the code and ask you to provide it to us. This helps verify that we’re speaking directly with you.

Important Reminder: Provident will never call and ask you for your passcode, password, PIN or any personal information. If someone calls claiming to be from Provident and asks for a code you received beforehand, please hang up and call Provident's member service number directly at (800) 632-4600 to report the suspicious activity.

Your security is our priority, and this added measure helps keep your account safe and secure.
