Supporting Alameda County Community Food Bank

At Provident Credit Union, we believe that community is built on action. Recently, our team joined the Alameda County Community Food Bank to take a stand against hunger and support neighbors in need.
 

The Power of Teamwork

Our volunteers, Miranda Malabanan, Lena Vo, and Scott Pederson (pictured from left to right), dedicated their time and energy to sorting and bagging bulk produce for distribution. Together, we contributed to an astounding 40,075 pounds of produce being prepared for families across the county. This effort translates to 33,262 meals, a testament to what can be achieved when people come together with a shared purpose. On average, each volunteer’s work helped provide 300 meals—a humbling reminder of the impact one person can have.
