Serving Our Neighbors in San Mateo

There’s something powerful about doing good in a tangible way. Our team volunteered by making sandwiches and packing lunch bags for the community, delivering 295 lunches to Samaritan House in San Mateo.

Why Samaritan House

Samaritan House works to preserve dignity, promote self-sufficiency, and provide hope for neighbors in need through food, shelter, healthcare, and supportive services. Their food programs help connect individuals and families to nutritious meals and groceries when they need it most.

Where the Lunches Went

The lunches our team prepared will be distributed to clients, served at their shelter, and delivered directly to homebound clients. We are grateful to play a small role in helping ensure more neighbors have reliable access to food.

Thank You, Volunteers

A big thank you to Samaritan House for the opportunity to support their mission, and to our volunteers for showing up with care, teamwork, and a shared commitment to our community.

If you’d like to add another way to help, our Share the Harvest Food Drive is also underway—learn more and see how to donate. Provident will be matching up to $3,000.
