The streets are buzzing again in 2026, and local festivals are one of the best ways to experience everything the San Francisco Bay Area has to offer. You’ll find live music, local art, great food, and plenty of ways to spend time with family and friends all in one place. Each event brings its own energy and gives you a chance to explore different communities.

San Francisco’s 2026 season of Sunday Streets returns with four events across The City. Since 2008, Sunday Streets has transformed San Francisco’s streets into car-free community spaces, bringing neighbors together for a day of connection, movement, and fun.

Fremont Festival of the Arts 🎨

Celebrating 42 years! The largest free street festival west of the Mississippi, featuring music, local beer, wine, and more.

Laurel Street Fair ♫

The 25th annual festival is rich with rhythms from around the globe and around the corner, the Laurel StreetFair is dedicated to celebrating our cultural roots, our community and the traditions that bring us together - reflecting all that is uniquely and beautifully Oakland.

Burlingame on the Avenue 🌞
August 15-16 
This highly anticipated event will take place along Burlingame Avenue and its surrounding streets, bringing the community together for a weekend of entertainment, music, and fun.

Palo Alto Festival of the Arts 🖼️
Aug 22-23 | 10 AM – 6 PM
The annual festival attracts tens of thousands of attendees to more than 250 fine art displays, an Italian Street Painting Expo, kids' Chalk-a-Lot, live stage and street entertainment, gourmet food, fine wines and microbrews.

Walnut Creek Art & Wine Festival

San Jose Dia de Portugal Festival

A cultural celebration of Portuguese heritage featuring traditional food, live entertainment, a community parade, museum exhibits, and activities for all ages.

San Ramon Art & Wind Festival

A longtime East Bay favorite featuring fine arts and craft vendors, multiple live entertainment stages, family activity zones, and professional kite-flying demonstrations that fill the sky throughout the day.

Cupertino Cherry Blossom Festival 
April 25–26
A celebration of Japanese culture with live entertainment, cultural exhibits, food, and spring festivities centered around cherry blossom season.




Folsom Historic District Sip & Stroll

Dublin St. Patrick’s Day Festival

Millbrae Lunar New Year Festival
