Device Sign-On History

Members can now easily access their sign-on history right from their mobile device. This service displays devices, dates, and times of your previous 90 days of sign-on history, helping you identify fraudulent activity early.

Easy steps

 

  1. From the navigation menu select your last sign-on information highlighted in blue text.
  2. From the Sign On History screen you can review up to 90 days' worth of sign on history.
  3. Use the filter drop down to select between all devices, mobile, desktop or third-party. Third party services are websites or apps that let you link your bank account to assist with tracking expenses and budgeting. Some examples of third party services are Mint, Quicken, and Tiller.

Fingerprint & Face ID

Allows members to easily and securely sign on to mobile banking using their fingerprint ID or facial recognition (iPhone X or newer) on their device.

Easy steps

 

  1. Select Profile & Settings > Finger Print & Face ID from the navigation menu.
  2. From the Fingerprint & Face ID screen, enter your device name and the user ID and password you use to sign on to online banking, then click enable.

Visa Card Controls

Provident Visa® Card Controls are fully customizable to give you peace of mind in the event that your credit card is lost or misplaced. Available card control features include:

Activate Card — Activate your new or reissued credit card from your mobile device.

Turn Card Off/On — Instantly lock your credit card to prevent new charges, right from our mobile app. Once your credit card is locked, new transactions made at ATMs, in store, online, by mobile payment or by phone will be blocked.*

Large Transactions — Block transactions based on a dollar limit that you set.

International Transactions — Block transactions that occur outside of the U.S.**

Time of Day Range — Block transactions that occur during a specific time of day.

Transfers & Payments

Provident's new mobile app makes it easy to complete internal and/or external transfers and payments to and from your accounts. Schedule immediate, recurring, and one-time transfers in seconds.

Easy steps

 

  1. From the main navigation select Transfers & Payments, then Make a Transfer.
  2. From the Make a Transfer screen, select the desired accounts you want to transfer between, the amount of the transfer and whether you want an immediate or future dated transfer.
  3. Review your transfer details, add a description and confirm.

Cross Accounts

The cross accounts service allows you to transfer funds from your Provident accounts to another Provident member's account. It is a one-way exchange from your Provident account(s) to the transferee.

  1. Select Transfer & Payments > Cross Account Set-Up from the navigation menu.
  2. From the Cross Account Set-Up screen enter the last name and membership number of the Provident member you would like the ability to transfer to and click the "Add" button. (Last name and membership number must match exactly in order for successful set-up.)
  3. Once complete, members will receive a confirmation email and can begin transferring funds.

E-Deposit

Deposit checks to your account without going to the bank. Sign on to our mobile banking app and take photos of the front and back side of your check using the camera on your device.

  1. From the navigation menu select 'Check Deposits' then 'Deposit a Check'.
  2. Enter the check amount, select the deposit account you want to deposit your check then take a picture of the front and back of your check.
  3. Review the images then click 'Make Deposit'.
  4. Users can also review their deposit history.

Account Details and History

Mobile banking users can now make transfers, take advances, and set card controls all from the Account Details screen. Users can now review up to 24 months of deposit and loan history and up to 3 months of their credit card history from their mobile device.

  1. Clicking on your deposit account will bring up the Account Details screen.
  2. Using the top scroll bar you can select to view more details about your account, make a transfer to or from your deposit account and create/edit a nickname for your account.
  3. Review up to 24-months of account history. Try our new filter and sorting tools, filter to show only deposits or checks. You can also sort your account history by amount or transaction date.
  4. Super Reward Checking requirements are now viewable. From the Accounts page under Deposits, click on Super Reward Checking, then click the "More Details" button to see if you have met the monthly requirements.

  2. Using the top scroll bar you can select to view more details about your account, take an advance, set/edit card controls and create/edit a nickname for your card.
  3. Review up to 3-months of credit card history. Try our new filter and sorting tools, filter to show only deposits or checks. You can also sort your account history by amount or transaction date.

ATM and Branch Locator

Provident's new ATM/Branch Locator service makes it easy for users to find nearby branches and ATMs.

  1. From the navigation menu select ATM/Branch Locator. The app will automatically show you all nearby Provident and Shared Branches.
  2. Use the filter icon to specify your search results. When a branch is selected you can view that branch's hours, call the branch, make an appointment or get directions from your location.
  3. Use the filter tool to quickly find the nearest ATM's as well.

Statements and Notices

View your complete Provident Credit Union statement(s) from your mobile device, including your Visa® credit card statements. Get your statement quicker and view your transactions for the entire statement period in one consolidated layout up to 24 months following your e-Document activation for deposit and loans, and 21 months for credit cards.

e-Statements provide less clutter, faster access, convenience and help minimize against identity theft.

With e-Statements you receive an e-mail notification when your statement is ready for viewing, downloading or printing.

Easy steps

 

  1. From the navigation menu select Statements & Notices.
  2. From the Statements & Notices screen you can view credit card, member, mortgage, loan, tax statements and any account notices.
  3. If you are not enrolled in e-Documents, click the Activate e-Documents button at the bottom of the screen.
