What to expect when visiting a branch during the Pandemic
Provident is open and here to serve you. We are deemed an essential business under the shelter in place mandate. As we continue to monitor the constantly evolving situation, we promise to do our best to keep you informed of the steps we are taking to protect you and our employees.

Branch and Corporate Headquarters Protection Measures:

Sit-down meetings with a Provident employee at a branch requires a verbal self-assessment of COVID-19 symptoms before the meeting begins.

We have installed floor guides to help ensure social distancing.

Employees are wearing face coverings and we ask everyone entering a branch or our corporate office to also wear a face covering.

Branches have plexiglas shields (sneeze guards) at all teller windows and at desks and teller windows are spaced out to increase social distancing.

We increased the level and frequency of cleaning at all locations. We installed additional hand sanitizers in branches and increased the frequency of ATM cleaning.
- We require employees remain home if they are sick and that they work from home if their position can be performed remotely.

Beware of Fraud
We are in constant contact with our members through email, and would like to remind members of potential phishing attacks and malware that malicious people do during a situation like this. Be very cautious when opening emails or text messages from unknown sources, especially any asking for personal information or account user names and passwords.
Provident will never ask you for your personal information or online banking credentials in an email or text message. Learn more about how to stay safe.
Alternative ways to manage your accounts:

Members are encouraged to use our online and mobile banking services. Members can check balances, deposit checks remotely, transfer funds, pay bills, and much more without visiting a branch.

Provident members are also encouraged to use ATMs located at all 20 Provident branches as well as ATMs that are part of the Shared Branch Network. Find ATM locations here.
