World Autism Acceptance Month

In recognition of April as World Autism Acceptance month, we come together to celebrate our differences and understanding that the world needs all kinds of minds to work together.

Autism is a complex, lifelong developmental disorder that can impact a person’s social skills, communication, relationships and self-regulation. Often times, there are no differences in the appearance of those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) that would set them apart from others but they may communicate, interact, behave, learn, and experience the world in ways that are different from those without ASD.

Provident celebrates differences and supports programs that strive to build inclusive societies where individuals with ASD can live a fulfilling life through connection and acceptance. Provident recently made contributions to Catalight Foundation, Kainos and PARCA, all of which support individuals with developmental disabilities including autism.
