Quicken Users: (updated July 17, 2008) We have posted new instructions for converting your Quicken accounts in Windows and Mac. We now also have new information about potential difficulties importing Provident Data into Quicken, and what to do about them.
(Updated July 17, 2008)FAQs and other links are available for users of Quicken and/or Provident's Bill Manager (scroll to bottom for list of FAQs).

Changes to Provident's online banking are complete. All of your existing account information, including payees if you pay bills online, have been converted. If you pay bills, you should also take these important steps:

  1. Review your account to ensure there are no discrepancies.
  2. Remember to have funds available on the date when your payment is scheduled to be debited from your account to successfully make a payment.

The following convenient new services are now available:

Account Manager

  • Balance and reminder alerts
  • Online updating of your contact information
  • Recurring transfer set-up
  • More options for sorting and filtering your transactions

Bill Manager

  • A new service that allows you to aggregate information from other financial institutions
  • Bank-to-bank transfers
  • Same day expedited payments (fee applies)
  • Extensive online help and 24/7 phone support

Other Changes

The process to complete some transactions is different. We took steps to minimize the number of changes, to make everything easy to find and use. When you sign on to the new Account Manager for the first time, you will be asked to accept an updated set of terms and conditions. Your member number and PIN will remain the same. They will, however, now be referred to as your User ID and password, respectively. The security image you selected will remain unchanged.

Touch Tone Teller, Quicken, and other services will continue to use their existing 4-digit PINs, even if you change your online banking password in Account Manager. If you use Quicken software, your ability to do so will continue, but you will need to re-enroll.

We are excited about the new features. And we hope these changes make your online banking with Provident a more convenient experience than ever.
