Position Description

Manage Branch location to meet and exceed sales, service, and revenue goals. Create, maintain, and develop a Branch team dedicated to the sales and service objectives of the Credit Union. Responsible for leading and developing sales and service activities, expanding member relationships, and external business development initiatives. Manage and work with Assistant Manager as part of the management team. Develops and coaches employees and is accountable for staff retention. Manages risk exposure of Branch and ensures compliance with all regulations. Actively participates in community activities. Works with minimal supervision, self-starter and highly motivated. Works under supervision of Assistant Vice President of Member Sales and Service.

Specific Job Duties

  1. Meet and exceed sales, service, and revenue objectives
  2. Generate sales in the areas of assets and liabilities
  3. Lead and develop a Branch team dedicated to the sales and service objectives of the Credit Union
  4. Conduct external business development activities
  5. Develop, coach, and counsel employees
  6. Manage the risk exposure of the Branch
  7. Ensure compliance with regulations and policies
  8. Actively participate in the local community
  9. Manager, develop, and work with the Assistant Manager
  10. Plan and execute sales and service activities and strategies
  11. Perform other duties as directed
  12. Manage staff turnover

Minimum Requirements

  1. College degree or equivalent work experience
  2. Financial services experience desired
  3. Minimum of 12 months management and/or supervisory experience
  4. Customer service experience
  5. Basic computer skills
  6. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  7. Notary license or ability to obtain Notary license within 90 days of hire date
  8. Current driver’s license and own auto insurance
  9. Excellent listening and speaking skills
  10. Excellent written communication skills

Additional Comments

  1. Management Certification is expected to be completed within nine months from hire date
